The Nursery Diaries Part Two: Commitment Issues

There were a few things I knew I wanted for sure in the nursery.  The one I felt strongest about:  white walls.  For those who know me well, I have a bit of a color commitment issue.  Especially when it comes to committing to a wall color.  As much as I would love to paint the walls a rich navy, I worry about how long it will be before I am disappointed they aren't white.  Plus the nursery will be our smallest bedroom and needs all the light it can get.  As with the other rooms in my house, I decided that I would bring in pops of color through the accessories and artwork.

Despite my issues, there are some great navy walls out there for inspiration:

And navy chevron for an even bolder look:

  2. Lauren, have you looked up painted ceilings?!?! I know it sounds crazy, but it looks really cool and then I don't think you will have an issue because your walls could still be white :)
