Luxe Fashion: Anna Dello Russo for H&M

Often I find that celebrity collaborations with major retailers seem so promising when the lookbooks are released, only to be disappointing when the actual goods hit the stores.  That or they create a maniacal frenzy not worth fighting the crowds for...let's not forget the mayhem that was Missoni for Target.

But here's one collaboration that has me intrigued.  Anna Dello Russo, editor of Vogue Japan and fashion icon in her own right, has teamed up with H&M and has a collection hitting stores October 4th.  Inspired by her travels to Fashion Weeks around the world, the line contains over 50 opulent items including jewelry, luggage and thigh-high boots.  I am really loving the gilded looks of these pieces, accented with lots of turquoise and coral, and animal motifs which we are loving right now!

An ad for the collection showing stacks of bracelets.

Love the bold cuffs and the snake wrap bracelet accented with turquoise and coral.

Crazy over the box clutches!

Emerald statement pieces perfect for the upcoming holiday season.

Vintage inspired turquoise, gold, coral and pearls.

Cleopatra-esque chunky gold pieces, snakes and gators!

Love how very over the top the line looks! You can check out the whole collection here.
Also, have you heard the exciting news that H&M will finally open up online shopping for the USA?! Supposed to be arriving Fall 2012!
