Ok, so despite our recent hankering to be wearing colorful resort wear, a trend that is sticking around for spring is the simple yet dramatic contrast of black and white.  We used a black and white striped fabric as inspiration for some entertaining, and Christin has made good use of the trend both in her sunroom and with her slipcovered console.  And the trend is everywhere in spring fashion.  It may not be the bold color palette of the tunics and caftans we've be eyeing, but paired with some gold jewelry, you can't go wrong with classic black and white!

As if we haven't gotten the vacation bug bad enough, yesterdays incredible giveaway really has us eager for resort wear even more!

Local Haunts: Style So Chic
