The Nursery Diaries Part Six: Luxe Baby Boy Must-Haves

FOR PERSONALIZING
Nothing says LUXE quite like a monogram!  This monogrammed linen pillow might be my favorite baby gift to give.  It is perfect for the crib or glider and can be monogrammed in so many different fonts and thread colors.  A classic personalized L.L.Bean tote never goes out of style!  Perfect for a diaper bag or baby's first travel bag.  I can't get over how much the inital blanket from Butterscotch Blankees looks like Hermes!  Of course that changes a little depending on your inital.  And a monogrammed hooded terry robe from Ralph Lauren...need I say more?

FOR SWADDLING
I have received many recommendations for the Aden & Anais muslin swaddling blankets and I just can't get enough! I have seriously become obsessed with the prints, colors and of course the quality of these blankets.  The lightweight muslin fabric is perfect for the South Florida weather, as they provide comfort and warmth while still allowing air to circulate to prevent overheating.  I love the extra-large size of these blankets, and that the more you wash them the softer they get.  I am dying over the aqua blue swaddle in the Azure Collection and the lucky elepants in the Diwali Collection.  Now if only you could mix and match!

FOR FEEDING
According to Aden & Anais, the Serenity Star is a multi-tasking must for every nursery.  It is an electronic feeding and sleep system designed for both baby and caregivers. It’s the first system to combine an electronic feeding diary, room temperature indicator, sound machine, nightlight and clock—all in one. And for when the little one moves on to solids, chic chevron and ikat bibs, and a sleek, modern high chair makes feeding time more fun!

FOR PLAYING
My stepsister Katie said it best, Sophie is basically a glorified dog toy that you have to have.  Sure, the world's most famous teething toy is perfect for stimulating all the senses, but I have to wonder is it because she is French that we love her so? I love this giant Noah's Ark for playtime! Plus it makes for a great Bible lesson! Any of the oversized stuffed animals from Melissa & Doug are a perfect addition for a nursery or playroom.  I went with their giant stuffed giraffe and absolutely love it!

  FOR WEARING
Who says boys clothes aren't cute?! I will take a Ralph Lauren onesie in every color/style/size please.  Every baby, but especially South Florida babes, needs a chic sun hat for the beach and the boat.  If I get our baby boy a pair of these suede Cole Haan drivers, I just might have to pick up a matching pair for his dad.  And the ultimate Luxe Pick--cashmere for babies!
