Luxe Decor: Lucite Chandeliers

The house is far from any kind of a reveal, but I did get my "new" vintage lucite chandelier hung this weekend! A large, oval shape with alternating lucite and brass prisms gives my dining room the touch of Hollywood regency it was missing! Now if we could just get the dining chairs, walls papered and moulding painted we'll be making some real progress!

Luxe Lifestyle: Favorite New Purchase: Palm Tree Candlesticks & Giveaway Winner!

This week's favorite new purchase comes courtesy of one of our favorite vintage stops, Palm Beach Regency, and Palm Beach regency my new purchase is! Last week I scooped up a pair of vintage brass palm tree candlesticks. A tradional candlestick base with a palm frond top, a perfect regency accessory for my coffee table.

Designing The New Digs: Palm Leaf Chandelier

Back in June I posted about this incredible vintage Palm Leaf Chandelier I purchased at Palm Beach Regency.

When I first saw it I knew I had to have it for our "new house"...Mind you, we hadn't even started looking at houses at this point...But I was sure, regardless of where we ended up, this chandelier would look amazing in our dining room! Boy was I right!

The scale, detail and gilded patina is by far the best I've seen. No regrets here.

Luxe Design: Luxe Online Vintage Finds

We've posted about some of our favorite local haunts before (here and here) for finding those great one-of-a-kind, vintage finds. And though West Palm Beach is an antique mecca, sometimes you just can't beat the finds from online resources like Ebay and Etsy.
Here are some of my recent luxe finds:

Not exactly a steal, but furniture with good Greek Key detail can be hard to come by. This entire Etsy store is full of great regency items!

We love vintage champagne buckets, whether for chilling champagne on a bar cart or as a cachepot for an orchid! Ebay has tons of vintage buckets at great prices.

A great price for a mirror style that usually garners a much higher price tag.
