Luxe Fashion: What I Wore
This past Monday we had some photos taken to celebrate Hank being with us for 7 months! If you follow me on Instagram (@lkukkamaa) you saw this photo I posted with the caption "Photo shoots with 7 month olds are EX-HAUST-ING!"
No Joke.
Let's zoom in on Hank's level of cooperation:
It didn't help that once the photographer arrived, I went to get Hank dressed and the 9 month outfit that I bought him specifically for his 7 month photos DID NOT FIT. Could barely get my poor chunk's arms into it. And for some reason I had no good backups that fit him either! This put both my husband and I, and poor Hank, in a fluster as we changed Hank in and out of three different outfits.
On top of the outfit mess, it started raining as soon as we were about to step outside and begin. Which meant all of the pillows/cushions/flowers that I had just set up had to come in. And in South Florida, rain means humidity. So now we were all sweating and my hair was growing frizzier by the second.
So, all this has me hoping that our photographer got one good photo. One's all you need, right?! One where all three of us are actually looking, hopefully smiling, and not visibly sweating! But if there isn't any good ones, we are fortunate for a very understanding photographer who would gladly reshoot. And in the meantime, I am thankful for a couple of great iPhone pics that my husband snapped while we were shooting!

Luxe Fashion: Enamel Bracelets
If you follow me on instagram (@lkukkamaa), you may have seen that yesterday I found a wonderful suprise in the form of a coveted orange box inside Hank's diaper drawer! To say that I have a thoughtful hubby is a major understatement!
Inside that box was the classic H bracelet by Hermes in black enamel. Something I've been eyeing for some time, and it helps that the "H" now has extra special meaning!
One thing so fun about this enamel bracelet is all of the different colors it comes in. I love stacking enamel bracelets, mixing and matching the colors and designs. They are essential for making the perfect arm party!

Luxe Fashion Meets Decor: Scarves As Art
In my opinion, artwork is one of the most challenging aspects of home decor. I often find it difficult to come across unique, original and affordable art. Ideally, it would be great to have a beautiful collection of original artwork...but until the bank account allows, I need to get creative and mix it up! Lately, I've been noticing beautiful silk scarves, framed and used as art! Brilliant!

A few weeks ago I celebrated my 30th birthday. Joe, my husband (and a particularly great gift giver), presented me with a beautifully, iconic orange box...Hermes! (Thirty isn't so bad after all!) I was ecstatic to discover a beautiful silk scarf inside! Along with it came a box of suggestion cards on how to wear/use the scarf. I never realized how many wonderful uses there are for scarves! But I got to thinking...even with all the great options, I might not use it or admire it nearly as much as I'd like...Unless, however, I framed it!!! Then I could enjoy my beautiful gift all the time!
I still need to pick out a frame and matting option but stay tuned for the finish product!
