We started off our Worth Avenue shopping day wondering just what new items the day had in store for us. We were both looking to treat ourselves with a little something special...a new wallet, some statement jewelry, a new pair of shoes?!?! We actually discussed our love for the Valentino Rockstud pumps, but wondered if they were going to be a short-lived trend or a designer classic that could transcend years. Plus we questioned just how flattering they were, with multiple straps that seemed to creep high on the ankle (never good when a shoe shortens a leg!). Sure, we've blogged about plenty of good looks for less, but we had actually never tried the real deal on for ourselves. Needless to say, we were proven otherwise once we actually got a pair on our feet! Maybe it was the thrill of wearing Valentino, but the look, cut and comfort (believe it or not!) of the shoe blew us away!
Soon after, we weren't only presented with the dilemma of a major splurge...but now, what color?!?!
So we settled on what any other normal person would do, you get one, and I'll get the other! And we'll share! :P
Everyone is worthy of a splurge now and then! We're kind of obsessed with our new black and white moment.
