Luxe Lifestyle: Favorite New Purchase(s): Serena & Lily Sale
Did you happen to snag up any goodies during Serena & Lily's summer flash sale last week? Love their sales, some really deep discounts to be had! Plus the sale gave me good reasons to purchase a couple of items I had been on the fence about.
This round, rattan coffee table caught my eye a couple of months ago when it first came out. I had recently scored some new outdoor furniture including a set of 4 club chairs at a vintage shop. And as I have been waiting while the furniture is repainted and the cushions recovered, I have kept this table in the back of mind, knowing it would be perfect for between the 4 club chairs I found. I was thrilled to see it included in the sale!
I also snagged this navy, herringbone patterned shower curtain for our guest bathroom. I've been going back and forth on doing a custom shower curtain, but figured at 50% off, this would be a great alternative to hang in the meantime. And I think it will look pretty fab on my Lucite shower rod!

Luxe Decor: Louis Phillipe Mirror
I've been loving the classic, French Louis Phillipe mirror for some time. There's not much to it, but whenever I see it used I feel it brings such a perfectly subtle French infusion to a room. While I was antiquing if France, I kept coming across them and so desperately wanted to ship one back... Between the exchange rate and shipping cost I opted to pass.
Upon my return to the states, I almost immediately discovered Wisteria has come out with a great reedition copy! Now I just need to convince my husband to let me replace his painting over our mantel...

Luxe Fashion: Brand I'm Loving: Blank Denim
If you're any bit of short-legged like I am, finding denim at an appropriate inseam is always a challenge. Sure, 34" inseams could be hemmed to the appropriate length when it was the year 2000 and boot cut styles were all the rage. But we're still loving the skinny jean, and it just doesn't work to hem those. Ultimately, you lose the "skinny".
So, I find that I'm always looking for words like "ankle" or "cropped" in the product descriptions when seeking out new pants, hoping this means that the inseam will fall somewhere between 28-29" and they'll hit perfectly at the ankle.

While shopping all of the denim options on Shopbop recently, I noticed that Blank Denim had quite a few options with just the right inseam. And a pretty good price to boot! I decided to give them a try. Here are the ones I'm loving.

Just bought these high-waisted black skinnies. The high waist is a bit of a departure for me, but I'm really loving the fit! Thinking of pairing with my new lace fringe top for a concert this weekend.

Favorite New Purchase: Luxe Decor: Vintage Brass Lamp
I recently bought a vintage brass urn lamp, while out thrifting. Just added a black drum shade and it's the perfect addition for my master bedroom overhaul!
