One of the most ingenious modern takes on a French classic, the Louis Ghost Chair by Phillipe Starck. I've been wanting a pair for some time! A piece that is truly minimalist, not overpowering any other furniture in the room, but it still makes a statement! Perfect for dining, at a desk, vanity, or for a large event!

Like I said, I've been coveting a pair for some time, but the $400 price tag per chair is hard to swallow. Especially when you want to have a pair, let alone outfit an entire dining room! And though in many cases the inspired version of any piece of furniture may not have the quality and craftsmanship of the original, I decided to go ahead and get the look for less for now. Maybe down the road I'll have the real thing, but for now the inspired version will do!
Look for Less
I have one ghost chair at my parsons desk, and the other at my vanity. And I love having the option of adding them to the head of the dining table when I need more seating!

So pretty! Those are some very glam chairs!
Your desk is sooo cute! Hard to see, though--make sure to make all your blogger pics X-large at least (if not all the width of your post column) to show them off and make for easy perusing! =)
They have ghost chairs on joss & main or one kings lane sometimes - keep your eyes peeled for them, my husband surprised me with some for christmas a couple of years ago and I CRIED when I opened the box!!!
